About Callmode

Callmode provides a simulated call setting for recording your own video. Callers are prerecorded, not live participants, and do not hear or respond to you. Callmode does not provide telephone calls, emergency calling, or a connection to the person depicted. The saved recording contains your camera video and microphone audio, not the caller interface or teleprompter.

Your app license

The App Store version of Callmode is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, linked above. These pages explain Callmode’s features, subscription terms, and acceptable use; they are not a replacement custom EULA. Nothing here limits rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Your recordings and imported content

You retain your rights in content you create or import. Using Callmode does not transfer those rights to us. Only import videos you have permission to use. You are responsible for obtaining any copyright, likeness, privacy, and recording permissions required for your use and for complying with applicable law.

Do not use Callmode to harass others, infringe their rights, make unlawful recordings, or falsely present a simulated caller as a genuine conversation or endorsement. Bundled media is provided for use within Callmode and does not grant you rights to separately distribute the underlying assets.

Free recordings

The current free allowance is five successfully saved recordings of at least two seconds each. It is not a recurring monthly allowance. Shorter recordings and unsuccessful saves do not consume a credit. Pro recordings do not consume free credits. Callmode stores the usage count locally in the device Keychain.

Callmode Pro and renewal

Callmode Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. The purchase screen and Apple confirmation show the current localized price, duration, and included features. Availability and supported video quality depend on your device and App Store region.

A seven-day free trial may be available with the annual plan only when Apple confirms eligibility and the offer is shown at purchase. Otherwise, the paid plan starts under the terms shown by Apple. After an eligible trial, the annual plan renews at the displayed price unless canceled.

Payment is charged through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. To avoid being charged after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel through Callmode Settings or your Apple Account’s Subscriptions settings. Deleting the app does not cancel billing. Apple displays when access ends and handles billing and eligible refund requests.

Restoring purchases

Use Restore Purchases in Callmode Settings or the Pro screen with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Restoring does not create a new trial or reactivate an expired subscription. It restores eligible purchase access, not local custom caller videos, scripts, or recordings.

Availability and your copies

Recording and saving depend on permissions, available storage, device capability, and interruptions. Check Photos for your saved recording before deleting originals or relying on a take. The app can offer a local retry for retained recording files, but recovery is not guaranteed. Callmode is not a backup service and cannot recover media from a server. Features may change through updates, subject to applicable law and purchase terms.

Privacy, support, and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how the app and support handle information. Contact support@callmode.app with questions about Callmode or these terms. When these explanations change, we will update the date above and give any notice required by law.
